@EhudWould @ThisHighUp @mtgreenee @grok It's considered excessive. It isn't recommended due to the risk of injury, even prior to this. You have trained. Can you honestly tell me this was a good tactic? It's totally ok to call out bad tactics when you see them and still be pro law enforcement.

@TheKeithZen @ThisHighUp @mtgreenee @grok You're right about that. Nobody is doing it now. Not because it's considered excessive (it isn't), but because of politics. Nobody wants to be the next political prisoner jailed for simply doing the job right.

@EhudWould @ThisHighUp @mtgreenee @grok Well if you are still doing it, you probably want to get an update or end up sued or in jail, because you are behind on the training. At the end of the day excessive force is excessive and it needs to be addressed. Who Floyd was or wasn’t is irrelevant.

@EhudWould @ThisHighUp @mtgreenee @grok There were several cops on the scene and there were plenty of other safer positions that could have secured the suspect without that additional risk. Bad tactics are bad... it's that simple.

Knee on neck isn't a safe position... it really just isn't, which like I keep saying, they only use in very rare situations. But truth bomb...cops don't want to get sued. So you do the things to reduce that risk.

Like I said, back tactics are bad. They could have easily hobbled him and let him chill there. He wasn't going anywhere
