@TheCinesthetic People commenting here are getting all worked up for nothing. The strong point of The Big Lebowski is exactly the deconstruction of the plot. In the end, the girl hadn't really been kidnapped, the bad guys were truly losers, the one meaningful death is a random heart attack etc.
