David got roped into it (poor guy was always quite gullible) on a dream and invested a lot of money into the company, which probably added to the financial issues he was facing in recent years. If anything, this lead to further depression for David. If the Deep State wanted to off David, they would have done it 10 years ago before this social media age.

The fine is charged back as an operating cost. It costs them nothing to corrupt the system and when no one goes to jail, it continues to occur.
