🚨📕 THE BOOK OF ELON IS NOW LIVE!!! 🎉🚀 This is the book we WISHED @elonmusk would write… “All of Elon's most useful ideas, in his own words.” Learn directly from the world’s greatest entrepreneur, like you’re sitting across from him at dinner. It took FIVE YEARS to make this for you. Because it's built from hundreds and hundreds of Elon's public appearances. I went through 3,000,000+ words to collect the most useful and timeless ideas. The final book is ~50,000 words. Every word is USEFUL. (This is what I do. My first book, The Almanack of Naval Ravikant, is one of the top 100 most highlighted books of all time on Kindle.) Then, I spent $50,000+ on editing and design so it looks and feels beautiful. Then… > Foreword by @naval. > Visuals by @jackbutcher. > Blurb from @mrbeast. > Published by @scribemediaco. > And yes, approval on this idea from Elon himself, thanks to @samteller. I went Maximum Effort to make this an all-timer. We got 10/10 on reviews from early readers, then worked on it for ANOTHER YEAR. Why so much effort? My mission is to create One Million Musks. For a generation to lift our gaze and build, so our grandchildren live in a world beyond our wildest dreams. I’m an independent author. I don’t get an advance. I risk my own time and money to make these books. Then we give away millions of them. Digital versions are free. I believe this book can benefit every human, and if you can’t pay five bucks for it, I want to personally gift it to you. Because I know it is useful. Useful how? You may be seeking purpose, a mission worthy of your life’s effort. You may have a clear purpose and seek the tools for success. You will find both in this book. Get the benefits of Elon’s entire life of hard-won lessons in a five-hour, easy read. (I checked, it’s a 5th-grade reading level.) You’ll feel personally mentored by the greatest entrepreneur in history. Click below to buy it now on Amazon, Audible, or directly from me. Amazon: amzn.to/47avSuh Audible: lnkd.in/gi_7HrFP Me: lnkd.in/gS2xWUWH If you’re not sure it’s worth $4.99 yet, just start reading the free version. PLEASE take 6 seconds to Like, Bookmark, and Repost. Even better: send this to your friends, team, or Group Chats! I guarantee this book will improve their lives. Spread the word! Every little thing helps. Your support spreads good ideas around the world, helping people and making the future better for everyone. Thank you! Forward. Together.

Today, 90%+ of healthcare spend (all $4.5T of it) goes towards treating chronic conditions after someone is sick. Less than 3% of that spend goes towards prevention. @Truemed exists to get more people investing in True Medicine. Exercise, food, supplements, movement, sleep, toxin removal… lifestyle interventions that help people treat and prevent disease, not just treat the symptoms of underlying sickness. We’re building tools that allow qualified individuals to unlock the $160B in tax-free HSA/FSA funds, and use them on these root-cause interventions. Since launching just 2.5 years ago, we’ve helped almost a million individuals pay for these interventions, and we’re just getting started. If we want to fix healthcare in America, we fundamentally have to help Americans get healthier. I’m extremely proud to announce our $34M Series A led by a16z, and am excited to continue our work to end the chronic disease crisis.

Realizing that the medical system, the educational system and pretty much every government-sanctioned recommendation is not designed for you or even considering what’s best for you is a bitter pill to swallow. Because it means that conscientious people, rule followers, or people that generally do the right thing are now going to have to practice being disagreeable in every aspect of civic and daily life. It’s deeply uncomfortable. No conscientious or good person wants to opt out of something in every appointment or be the one questioning everything in front of their peers, their teachers, their doctors or their neighbors. But it gets much easier to opt out when you have children. Because your primary job is to advocate for your child above all else, and realizing that no one else ever will is emboldening.

Usually not a huge fan of business memoirs but @m_evans book Hangry about founding GrubHub was pretty great and honest about the journey. Team and investor issues, business model challenges, legal problems, etc

If I were buying a home right now I'd be looking to do it with an assumable mortgage. Probably the best affordability hack available today. And now that we have this live, I'd use Lava to fund the down payment without selling any bitcoin. Very excited about this one.
lava@lava_xyz

Buy your dream house. Keep your bitcoin. Beat the market rate. We've partnered with @movewithroam to make this possible. → Find an assumable mortgage on Roam at <4% → Borrow with Lava to fund your down payment → Buy a home without selling a single sat Who wants in?

Sweep account has quickly become one of the most popular ways to buy on Castle. Businesses can automatically sweep funds from a bank account into BTC, over a threshold they define e.g. "If our checking account balance is ever more than $[X], sweep the excess into bitcoin" Bitcoin treasuries are cool. Even cooler when they're automated!
Satoshi Pacioli Accounting@SatoshiPacioli

Strike's business bill pay has been a game changer for our cash management. This combined with @savewithcastle's sweep account feature and @ZapriteApp for invoicing completely automates our treasury management.

TBD on if Meta paying $100m+ for AI researchers will be a good financial move. But I do think large companies should take inspiration from this and warm up to the idea of paying *significantly more* than standard rates for the right talent in the right situation

One underappreciated reason why the iPhone was so immediately successful is Apple had the right amount of “cool” as a company when they launched it bc of the iPod. Someone like Nokia launching the exact same product wouldn’t have gotten the same level of hype imho

@TheRealNeilS Soviets did a lot of horrible things in the Balkans, too. FDR didn’t want to fight more (and maybe liked Stalin), but Patton wanted to continue to Moscow.

It's weird that after WWII, only the victors got to charge the losers with "crimes against humanity". Especially considering the Soviet rape spree in occupied Germany and the nuclear bombs dropped on Japan The Axis obviously did a lot of horrible stuff but they weren't alone
