Star Savior Launch Beginner Guide: - Played more than 100hours in JP, paused around Bunny Charles banner and now preparing for global (estimated 1400 GMT+8 launch) - Full video posting tomorrow AM, just some key points here. Gacha: - 4% SSR rate, 200 gem 1 pull, 200 pity points to exchange 1 copy similar to Uma/Nikke, pity can carry over indefinitely. - 50-50 for RGB, 25-75 for Cosmic banners (so far Waltz Ashera, Lacey and the upcoming Rosaria Collab), no hard pity. - Good to pull on RGB banners due to higher odds of getting rate up, save the pity points for Cosmic banners. - Dupes not needed, can use any random 4 SSR at LB3 to unlock Lv200 level cap; this was very easy even as a F2P as the game gives a ton of pulls. Only Waltz Ashera was very dupe hungry, but devs have since made new units good even at no dupes. Reroll: - Launch has 750+ Unit pulls, 350+ Arcana pulls but distributed over time. Unsure total pulls on immediate account creation. Always use cosmic selector for Lacey. - Aim for collab banner assuming they are true limited. This is a first for all servers, so noone knows how good they are/if they will rerun, but good time to reroll for them. - Else, aim to get good SSR Arcanas (support cards) from the random box, ideally Charles and Lacey Arcana. Progression: - Player level dont matter, just push story stages/MSQ/daily materials/career mode (like uma training) - Build 1 strong team, use that to push one time clear events and farm some AI/bots in PVP for arena points - Use all the early T1 gold gear boxes for faster progression; T2 unlocks very late (about 1 week of playing F2P back then), very big powerspike. - Leave unit skill levels at 3/6/6 for most; gold cubes are extremely rare so save. - The career mode, or stella journey, is more rigid than uma, most comes with fixed options and some minor RNG, it will mainly be determined by your Arcana friendships/gambling for higher risk players to get a good save. Parent farming is something for the future. Endgame: - PVE, PVP and Guild War (raid boss) - All competitive rankings have very minor gap with more casual players (~top 10%), just play for fun and no need to rush - If this is your first PVP gacha, dont worry about it and have fun with people around your match rating; if you win too much, you meet the whales and they farm you. @Tatodarside @endminguy He played the game. If you also play the game you can get enough limiteds to guarantee whomever you want. Do exploration, do missions, do dailies. You can get enough pulls to guarantee in like 2-3 days. If you want enough to guarantee every single limited then yeah sry.

@endminguy Those few pulls? That's it? Also how did he get them I barely got 30 limited pulls and 50 in total counting the ones they gave for free I don't want anyone telling me that the game right now is not greedy cause it is, hopefully they change in the near future though

Important Laevatain Build PSA: Stop using Lynx Slab. Prydwen has listed LYNX as the best kit for her +1 piece due to 20.7% main attribute buff, which by right should buff your raw attack higher. I was also asked this on stream when I was showing my Laeva build, since apparently I'm losing out big damage from the lack of Main Attribute Buff. Unfortuately, not only do you lose the crucial 8.7% Ult Efficiency to keep 2 ESkill Ult rotation, you literally have lower attack than running Tide Fall which scales full Intellect and Strength. I had 3736 ATK on Tide VS 3668 on Lynx. If anything, the 8.7% Ult alone is important enough to warrant its usage, as Laeva will go from 3 Eskill to 2 Eskill for 300 energy. To double confirm in combat, you are dealing about 8000 lesser ESkill damage during ult (also due to the lost of 41% Skill DMG from no Hot Rod Kit), and my run comparison had me clearing Lv90 Rhodagn almost 30s slower with Lynx compared to Tide. I then triple checked this with CN Guidemakers who also came to the same conclusion. TLDR: Run 3P Rod + Tide Fall Armor. #ArknightsEndfield

Please @pathofexile for nerfs like this just a full respec reset would go a long way to make them feel less bad. The gold costs are prohibitive for unexpected changes like this. I'm ok with big changes this early in EA but some hassle mitigation would help so much. TY!
