I saw such an interesting video regarding job interviews and I thought why can't it be extended to potential /sr interviews? So the guy goes: normally at the end of an interview, you'd be asked: do you have any other questions for us? And normally people say no, but it's such a missed opportunity to ask: let's say / imagine I got the job... What would I have needed to do in 6 months or a year from now for you to feel like you made a good decision to hire me? And he goes on to say that 1) they're already picturing you in the role & 2) they would normally list out exactly what they would have want wanted for you to exceed in the role or what preconceptions they have or from past experiences or what they did not like from someone else. And I thought that's such an interesting question to get someone to say what they expect (from marriage) as opposed to asking directly: what do you expect in a marriage? Because normally (for me) I always found that question difficult, because you ordinarily would say something to make the other person happy as opposed to what would makes you happy

Crazy how 2 Ramaḍan’s ago, I’d made du’ā for a child, last Ramaḍan I was pregnant, waiting for my little one to arrive and this Ramaḍan my little one is playing and laughing Alḥamdulillāh. My own answered du’ā right beside me. Never give up on your du’ās.
