Hey Simmers, The Sims Mobile (TSM) will be delisted from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store on October 21st at 1:30 PM UTC, but we wanted to remind you that if you’ve downloaded it before, you can redownload and play TSM until it sunsets on January 20th, 2026. For Apple users who have the game downloaded but couldn’t update it before the delisting, you’ll likely need to uninstall the game and reinstall it with the steps below to get the latest version of the game. Here’s how you can redownload TSM: On iOS (App Store) 1) Open the App Store app on your Apple device. 2) Tap your profile icon in the top right corner. 3) Tap ‘Apps’ to see a list of all your apps. 4) Switch to the ‘Not on this [name of your device]’ tab to filter for apps that are not currently installed. 5) Scroll down until you find TSM, and then tap the cloud icon with a download arrow to redownload the app. On Android (Google Play) 1) Open the Google Play Store app on your device. 2) Tap your profile icon, typically found in the top right corner. 3) Select ‘Manage apps & device’, then tap the ‘Manage’ tab. 4) In the dropdown menu that has the options ‘This device’ and ‘Not installed’, select ‘Not installed’ to see all apps not currently on your device. 5) Scroll down until you find TSM in the list and tap the ‘Install’ button next to it. A quick note: These steps will help you redownload and play TSM until January 20th, 2026. They’ll only work if you’ve previously installed the game using the same Google or Apple account that’s currently signed in on your device. If you’ve never downloaded TSM before or you’re using a different account, the game won’t appear in your app library.

Hey Simmers, We have some sad news today. After seven years and more than 50 updates, The Sims Mobile is releasing its final update. From January 20, 2026, at 1:59 PM UTC, TSM will no longer be accessible to play and will be sunset. From today, all in-app purchases have been disabled, but you can use any remaining in-game currencies or tickets until January 20, 2026, at 1:59 PM UTC. On October 21st at 1:30 PM UTC, The Sims Mobile will be delisted from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This means it will not be available to new players, but will still be accessible to current and past players. We’re deeply grateful for the love and passion you have all poured into TSM. Hey Simmers, We're aware of, and investigating an issue causing crashes on certain Android devices since the latest release was rolled out. The team is currently working on a fix to resolve this and we'll share more information about it soon. Thank you for your patience.

Alongside, we've fixed the following bugs with this release: 1) Fixed an issue that caused Sims to clip with the ‘Songbirds in Love’ object when performing an appointment. 2) The game has been updated to support the latest Android 15 and iOS 18.1 devices. 3) Fixed an issue preventing users from tapping the ‘Continue’ button when connecting to Facebook on certain iPad devices. 4) Fixed an issue that caused default barrier items to show in the ‘outdoor items’ category instead of the ‘barrier’ category.

The update comes with a few bug fixes we’d like to talk about ⚒️ 1) Fixed an issue that caused the back button to not function when users were on the ‘Delete my account’ screen on some Android devices. 2) Fixed an issue where accidentally clicking the ‘dig’ button multiple times caused more than 1 walkie-talkie token to get deducted.

📢Our game faced server issues which caused a downtown of about 2 hours over this past weekend. To compensate for time lost, we've started granting 200 SimCash and 20,000 Simoleons to all players affected. This should be reflected in your accounts within the next 24 hours. Please note: This grant may cause some players to get logged out of their games. This shouldn't affect anything and players can resume playing once they log back in.

🐞We’ve also got a few bug fixes: 1) Fixed Network Error 450. 2) Fixed the UI Scaling issues some iOS device users were experiencing. 3) Fixed an issue where the game would crash upon launching on certain Android devices.

Fixed the placement of the Faster Forward icon, which overlapped with the Party Notification icon for some users. Fixed the issue causing only one color variant to be visible from the Build Buy Rewards. (3/3)

Fixed the issue where an incorrect cooldown time was shown to some users after hosting a party. Fixed the issue preventing receipt of an add-on bonus after watching an ad video. (2/3)
