I just remembered this lady I mistakenly sent 25k some months ago. It happened that the account number was saved on my Palmpay when a customer came to transfer money to the said account. I mistakenly picked her own Funmilayo when I wanted to send money to another Funmilayo It was around the time I was really broke and life happened to me. I called her that she should help me check that I mistakenly sent some money to her. She checked and then told me she will get back to me. She didn't reach out to me, I had to call her again. All of a sudden she started telling me I was disturbing her peace that did I know how many times she had sent money to wrong people that didn't refund her back. I didn't still give up, I called over and over. She eventually gave her phone to her accomplice, he told me I should go to the police station to report if I was the first person such has happened to. I even begged for them to refund half of the money but they refused. That was when my eyes cleared that they won't refund me. My uncle’s friend, a member of one notorious cult group (name withheld), was brutally k!lled in 2021. On a Thursday morning. It was a shocking event. Then all of a sudden, two guys passed by and sighted him sitting there. Then they started making phone calls. The person who narrated this story to me was one of the people sitting beside him, he claimed he stood up soon as he noticed something was off with those guys making phone calls. Then he went to sit at one shop across the road, directly opposite where this bros was sitting. Then the other guys stood up too, leaving only him there, he was on earpiece, and kinda enjoying his own company. Then 3 extra guys arrived in a maruwa, joining the 2 guys already waiting, then all 5 of them marched in on him. He stood up to run but was cornered, then he faced them head on, like the strong man he’s always been. Cos everyone knew him for that. In barely 10 seconds he was already on the floor, after a heavy slap. Before he could move, they shot him on the neck with a pump action gun. The said gun, they put it inside one big nylon and immediately they all fled the scene. That moment changed my orientation forever. He was a dear brother to me, he advised me a lot, he’s one of the reasons I’m studying law today. Cos he was supposed to be lawyer too. He was rusticated in 500 level due to cult related activities.
