@acommunitycoach Did you end up buying the official DaVinci Resolve? I think @descript is probably going to need a feature like this to keep up because the latest resolve update does phenomenal automatic edits 0.0

So I've managed to rough edit my youtube video using AI to remove bad takes, gaps etc, but does anyone know a tool that can add some cool text effects, video snippets, gifs, funny memes, transitions etc? I feel like we still need video editors...?

@SamanthaVenia I was deeeeeply sceptical, but it charmed me utterly. Some very necessary script adaptations that improved it all round for me.

#TheLittleMermaid was gorgeous. Script adaptation was terrific, musical inflections delicious, VFX magical, and Halle Bailey is a goddess. An honourable passing of the dinglehopper 🧜‍♀️

@Nikki2987 @rosiesherry @valhalla_dev I don’t disagree with the principle at all. I just don’t think every event can afford to do it. I think there’s a danger it would result in fewer speakers, fewer events, or events organisers guessing which speakers will cost the least.

@RichMillington @Nikki2987 @rosiesherry @valhalla_dev I don't see a problem with paying for keynotes straight up, and for requesting attendees pay in to a scholarship fund for burgeoning voices. And event does not need to solely shoulder those costs in order to treat speakers well. Just add the optional fee and confirmation email.

@RichMillington @Nikki2987 @rosiesherry @valhalla_dev We"ve made free speaking without travel and board the default because our industry is made of mother hens. The problem is that the burden of requesting payment is on the speaker to navigate from an expectation of zero, and voices feel disposable. The power balance is horribly off

@acommunitycoach I'd be super happy to hop on a call and shoe you my Google Drive content automation which uses zapier and google tables (their version of portable). The automation will work pretty much the exact same.

On the hunt for easy to understand resources to learn zapier… I’m an airtable wizard (I like to think) but today I realised I need to learn how to use zapier better. Case in point: I created an airtable form today where I will be receiving many responses with images attached. I will need to batch download all the images and save them to a google folder. Looks like zapier is the best solution to this…
