The devastating loss of innocent Palestinian life and humanitarian catastrophe resulting from Israel’s bombardment and siege of Gaza cannot be morally justified.
The evil of Hamas cannot be paid by the civilians of Gaza.
I repeat my call for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, for the release of hostages, and for aid to reach people in dire need.
