@AnnUdoh5 Michelin factory in PH has been converted into office spaces for a number of companies. I worked with one of those companies around 2017. Walking into what should be a, factory to do mundane office stuff every morning was really depressing to be honest.

Peugeot in Kaduna and Volkswagen in Lagos were operational, assembling cars, buses, and trucks what happened? Dunlop and Michelin in Lagos and Port Harcourt were producing tyres from local rubber plantations what happened? Thriving textile mills in the North (Kano, Kaduna, Zaria) supplied local fabrics. Bata and Lennards produced shoes from locally tanned leather, while companies like Thermocool and Debo produced refrigerators and air conditioners What happened to Nigeria?

@omgsidewalks "winners don't quite" is a scam. Winners are good quitters. If notice the path you're on is not leading you to where you want to be, quite early and find a new direction. Don't be loyal to something you're certain isn't going to work.

When you meet a Port Harcourt person that was born in the 80's & 90's, dem dey avoid trouble at all cost. It is because we lived through periods of intense violence. From the streets, to campuses, deep into the dark creeks, & mangroves. Life in Rivers State was dangerous. You fit wake up for house commot, make u no come back again, either u kpai by stray bullet or men fall you. I remember one day I go see my class mate for Marine base, we played Play station until it was late, so I decided to spend the night there (wrongest decision I ever made). At around 11:15 p.m, approximately fifty well armed members of Asari’s NDPVF arrived by speedboats at Marine Base, a waterfront area in Port Harcourt where several members of Ateke Tom’s NDV resided. At about 11.30 p.m, they started chanting Asawana, we started hearing gunshots coming from the River and from the road. The gunshots lasted until 5a.m. I didn’t know what was happening, there were gunshots everywhere. If you peep through the window it was like stars, so we just lay flat in the house and prayed. That was all we could do. The security forces didn’t arrive at the scene until 6a.m. and appeared unable to contain the violence or match the firepower of the NDPVF. The police ran away leaving residents defenseless. The fighting led to the deaths of over 13persons, as well as the destruction of several stores and cars. That was the last time I ever stepped my foot in Marine base. This event happened over 20years ago, till today if you invite me to Marine base or Abuloma for business, you can never see me there. Thank God for the uneasy calm we are experiencing now in Port Harcourt.

That bread company saying that all their ingredients are NAFDAC certified. So NAFDAC is allowing people to put ingredients into bread that allows the bread to last for two months without moulding? And some wild animal was trying to compare NAFDAC regulations to EU regulations.

Many Nigerian young men are losing it. This will bite in 10 years Ask anyone who is hiring or who has a business that hires, Nigerian young women are the most cracked these days Put out a Job opening and in 5 hours its 80% women applying and 20% men applying The young men in Nigeria think they can ignore the build process into a GLE, GLK life sustainably. I guess all the "women are the spark" "Feminine Power" seminars from 15 - 20 years ago is beginning to pay off because the focus young women bring to the table these days is exceptional Yes there are still many young men thriving and striving to build but the percentage that's pushing for fast money is alarming. - Young man finishes university. Refuses to start a job because "how long 150k salary go buy GLE" - Young man shuns entry level experience and starts doing betting or fraud or "Forex" - Young girl starts working after university regardless - 10 years later, One has 10 solid years experience and can lead in the industry while the other is still GLEing

@Joe_brendan_ You just pull a random 80-20 percentage out of your ass and start writing gibberish on it. The staggering number of women that graduate and flood the street and clubs every night... Where do they come from? The vast number of men working in the informal sectors nko?

VDM, who is just a 2-year-old premature activist, passively owns a car lot while using his brother as the face of the brand, owns one of the biggest phone stores, ships in containers from China, and flies jets by feeling, without any profession or university degree. Sowore, a first-class graduate of UNILAG with over 30 years of experience in activism, a professor at the School of Art in New York, a lecturer at the City University of New York, and the publisher of Sahara Reporters, married to an American citizen, is the one VDM is questioning on how he got the money to sponsor his children’s education. Who should really be questioned? Credentials or controversy?

Nobody’s really calling out how MTN might be ripping people off… I’ve noticed my data finishes way too fast even when I barely use it. So I bought 10GB, turned off my mobile data immediately, and switched to WiFi. Just 2 hours later, I checked my balance and somehow I was left with 6GB… how does that even make sense? Everyone don see Nigerians finish because we always take everything and adapt 🤦‍♂️

I will never use my HMO only when I'm sick. My company HR had a session at work with us, they opened our eyes to what we stand to benefit with our HMO plans. The company has spent millions on our HMO. Individual plans, family coverage, everything. Then they said if we don’t use it, that investment is gone. I’ve already signed up for my monthly gym sessions. Done one spa session, one more to go. I completed a massage too, still have another pending. Did dental care, scaling, polishing, even whitening. I’m intentionally going for the ones that actually cost money outside. If they had BBL for men inside the package, I won’t lie, I would have considered it. Na my money oh, I go use am.
TiMoRi@Ogbeni_Mo

Nobody use HMO reach me, both at my current place and previous place of work. I’m the type that walks into the clinic and request for total well being check up…I see the optician and dentist every year 😂😂 Some of you…since you started 9-5, you’ve never gone to the hospital to check even your BP 💀

Have you ever heard of the darkest chapter of prostitution in Indonesia? Its victim wasn't human, but an orangutan named Pony. > Born around 1996, Pony was taken from her mother when she was still a baby and ended up enslaved in a brothel in Kereng Pangi Village, Central Kalimantan. > Tragically, she was forced into sex work to satisfy the lust of local palm oil workers, at an extremely low rate of just around Rp35,000 to Rp38,000 per session. > As the "main star," Pony was forced to serve many customers multiple times a day without respite, making her the brothel owner's biggest money-making machine. > Pony was chained to a filthy mattress, and all her fur was shaved off every two days to expose her skin, leaving her covered in infected wounds and mosquito bites. > She was made to wear lipstick, perfume, jewelry, and cruelly trained to flirt; her body would reflexively sway her hips every time a man passed by her room. > Ironically, because she was seen as exotic (a novelty), Pony was far more popular and often chosen by customers over the human female sex workers in the same place. > Her rescue in February 2003 was highly dramatic; BOSF and the authorities had to deploy 35 armed personnel because the brothel owner fiercely resisted to protect their "talisman." > Now, Pony has successfully regained her natural instincts and lives freely in the wild habitat of Borneo, serving as a living witness to the grim exploitation of wildlife and a symbol of conservation success.

met a guy making $51,000/month by scraping reddit for the phrase "anyone got recommendations for" and emailing the posters within 2 hours not joking he opens reddit every morning runs a search on 8 subreddits in his niche finds people who just publicly asked for exactly what he sells and emails them while the post is still on the front page reply rate: 23% average cold email: 0.3% his is 76x higher because these people literally just raised their hand in public saying "please take my money" heres the exact phrases he searches every morning: "anyone got recommendations for [service]" "alternative to [competitor]" "looking for a good [service]" "got burned by [company], where do i go now" "has anyone used [company] — are they worth it" every one of these is a public declaration of buying intent with a timestamp on it someone posted this 4 hours ago in r/[niche]: "I need [service] urgently. Budget is $15K. Prefer someone who actually knows what theyre doing and isnt sketchy" he saw the post at 9am pulled the username cross referenced linkedin found the email sent this at 10am: "hey [name], saw your post in r/[sub] about needing [service] urgently. we do exactly that — last client we booked 34 qualified calls in a month. free 15 min call?" reply at 10:11am call at 2pm signed $15K contract by 4pm 7 hours from public reddit post to signed deal from reading reddit in the morning this is the process: step 1: find the 5-10 subreddits where your buyers hang out step 2: run searches for "recommendation" "alternative to" "looking for" "anyone use" in those subreddits every morning step 3: filter for posts under 4 hours old with clear buying intent step 4: pull the username → cross reference linkedin → find their email step 5: send a 2 line email referencing their EXACT post step 6: warm call every positive reply within 30 minutes thats it last month: - 187 reddit posts scraped - 164 emails found (90% find rate) - 38 positive replies - 24 booked calls - 11 closes - $4,600 average deal - $50,600 in revenue from reading reddit while eating breakfast heres why this layers perfectly on top of a normal cold email system: your main campaigns are emailing 4,500 cold leads a day building pipeline at scale reddit is a surgical strike on top of that the guy on reddit literally JUST declared their problem hours ago the declaration is the qualifier theres no discovering pain points they posted the problem you showed up with the solution the sales conversation is already 90% done before the call starts its the highest intent cold email you can send because it might not even feel cold they had the problem at 9am you showed up at 10am thats not a cold email thats a well timed introduction and heres the part that should make every cold emailer sick: every single person on this app is scraping apollo fighting over the same 50 million contacts meanwhile reddit has 500 million monthly users posting their exact buying requests in public timestamped organised by niche completely uncontested free nobody in cold email is scraping reddit because nobody thinks of reddit as a lead source they think of it as a place to post memes while angry buyers are literally typing their credit card out loud every single day one of the most profitable lead source on the internet has been sitting there for 15 years organising itself timestamping itself qualifying itself telling you their budget telling you their pain telling you what they just got burned by and agency owners are still writing "hey firstname hope this finds you well" to marketing directors on apollo go open reddit search one of those phrases in a subreddit in your niche youll find 10 hand raisers before your coffee gets cold simples p.s. if youre an agency owner with a proven offer and want us to setup a cold email system that books you 10-30 calls per month - DM me "EMAIL" (you ONLY pay for qualified calls actually booked onto your calendar)

@Molayoo_ @Uzzie_216 I've worked with a big company that pay some workers over 1. 5m all the way to 5m. When some workers had salary delay like up to a week, the Chairman called me personally and apologised. One of the nicest gestures I've ever seen. And then there are people like that woman.
