This needs to be a *HUGE* lesson for new mixed-use developments built on private property. The City has to ensure they include a structure for ongoing engagement with residents. That has to happen up front. Trying to overlay something like that afterwards is nearly impossible.

Their City Council rep, Byron Amos, says: "One of my biggest issues is the structure of Atlantic Station...the people that vote for me, the people that look at me as their leadership, I’m having to tell them the real reality that you actually live on private property."
