The New York Times is now calling Zelenskyy "The New Leader of the Free World" as King Charles calls for Ukraine's defense from the US Capitol.
Why are we being sold these false narratives of this war, where Ukraine is losing and practicing the most tyrannical measures in the country? Old men are being forcibly drafted to the frontlines while corrupt elites live lives of luxury on foreign tax dollars.

President Trump and Putin had a phone call.
According to Putin's aide, the call lasted 1,5 hours. Reportedly, they discussed international issues, including the situation around Iran. Putin "thinks a ceasefire is the right thing" - Ushakov.
President Trump said that a peace deal with Ukraine is close.
Allegedly, Putin suggested a ceasefire on May 9, supported by Trump.

I just moved to Cyprus 🇨🇾 My first impressions and why I moved: > it's safe (unlike rest of Europe) > friendly people (unlike rest of Europe) > quiet > clean air > fast WiFi > tax friendly > great coffee > amazing food > very walkable > incredible weather > affordable (€2 for coffee, €7 for meal) > great laptop cafe culture (unlike rest of Europe) > growing tech scene (unlike rest of Europe) It's been so long since I had somewhere I could lock in from and call home. I was torn between UAE and Cyprus but the last month made my decision for me. And so far I am so happy with my decision.

The soil, forest, and water bodies, including rivers, will be contaminated. The consequences will be much greater than from the diesel oil spill in December 2024 in Anapa,” said ecologist Yevgeny Vitishko. The Black Sea ecosystem could be effected for decades.

🔴 Paramedic massacre in Lebanon.
Ambulance teams and members of civil defense were besieged, bombed and murdered tonight by the Israeli army in Majdal Zoun, Tyre district, while carrying out their humanitarian duty rescuing injured civilians.
The Lebanese MOH said in a statement that the preliminary death toll now stands at five. Three of them were paramedics.
