Yeah, I totally agree. Look at China's growth, for example. They just focus on themselves fist. For example we invested in Ukraine, while China built an AI port to speed up exports. Running a hegemony or empire is a massive headache that distracts from what's needed to run and grow a nation. It would take a huge adjustment for America, since being an empire has its perks (like the ponzi finance system). I really hope America can find its way again.
