Your Cards of the Day: Bill Veeck changed the Browns' logo to an elf in the early 1950s. Prior to the change, the emblem was based on the statue of Saint Louis at the art museum in Forest Park-which I visited yesterday.

Your Cards of the Day: The St.Louis Stars were a power in the Negro National League in the 1920s. They owned their own field (Stars Park) in the Mill Creek section of St. Louis. Here are three Stars' greats and the approximate location of the park now.
