It’s high time to end the divisive, “two systems” rhetoric. We have one set of students, who are facing shared challenges (many lifted up in @DrJillUnderly’s address). They are ALL worthy of our love, our support, and of fair funding - no matter their choice of schools.

A key issue - and one DPI's own team also pointed out last year: because of how DPI lowered the bar, low-poverty schools got 9x the report card bump as higher-poverty ones. We shouldn't set lower expectations for any of our students, just because of their families' income.
