I will say, I think some of the frustration is of VT’s own doing. So much preseason hype that they made and to be fair, a healthy Tyler Johnson and Tobi Lawal likely means VT in even with the disappointing year for Avdalas. That’s why I’m optimistic about a 2026-27 VT if they retain a core of Hammond-Schutt-Johnson-Hansberry-Gurdak and Mike Young gets some roster consistency.

Four true freshmen are out this spring. Tough for Marlion Jackson to miss spring ball given the talent at WR. Jojo Crim probably the most notable out. Logan Howland not being available creates opportunity for guys like Aidan Lynch in battle for starting OT jobs #Hokies
