I as a Protestant couldn’t go to a Catholic Church and receive communion. Think about that. I believe in the Holy God of the bible, I believe in the triune God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, but I would be denied communion with Catholics. But the pope is going to a mosque in Algiers and having communion with Muslims who do not believe in the triune God. They don’t believe Jesus is the son of God. They aren’t even an abrahamic religion. There’s absolutely no evidence that Abraham and Ishmael were ever in Mecca. I can’t wrap my head around this.

This is Pastor Youssef Ourahmane, a Christian convert & church leader for 30+ years. 3 years ago, he was sentenced to prison in Algeria for the “crime” of “illegal worship.” This is the reality for many Christians in Algeria. The same religious authority who persecutes Christians is the same one the Pope is bowing barefooted in their mosques. Call us foolish all you want. But the Pope, this Pope Leo, is currently taking steps that do nothing but further harm Christian in a period in which Muslims are becoming more brazen in their killings of Christians.
