I’m home and wearing my new favorite shirt. Things continue to progress very well. For the most part, my head doesn’t hurt unless I cough or sneeze (no surprise). I was able to stop taking the prescription pain killer yesterday and only occasionally take Tylenol.

I can’t express how appreciative I am of all of the friends and family who have been checking in on how recovery is going and offering to help with anything I might need help with.

Biggest thing I’m dealing with is nasal congestion and drainage. Not much different than a cold but without the constant sneezing. I’m mostly able to relieve it with a saline solution spray but have prescription strength Afrin that I’ve been using before bed so I can breathe.

@GrinnyWeasley It was brain tumor removal. ☺️

Got discharged! It was a day later than initially expected because my cortisol levels were a bit high, but they’re significantly lower today. From here I am heading to some friends house for a few days before heading home. It always feels good when all the IV tubes are removed.

@HodorificTV That was my be of the first anime I had ever seen and I loved it. It got me into watching anime.

And Vampire Hunter D ends for the night. Always love this Anime. So many memories.

Out of surgery early. The neurosurgeon has been in and said everything went really well. I feel good. Just a mild headache. All the doctors are very pleased with how it went. So far, they’re saying it was the best possible outcome. They didn’t have to remove any pituitary gland.

It’s time for eviction notice to be served on this tumor! See you on the other side.

I spent the day at Mayo for final rounds of tests to clear me for surgery. I met with the anesthesiologist this afternoon and he said everything looked good and I should be good to go on Tuesday. Time to evict this tumor in my head.

Good chance no stream today due to a family emergency. Really depends on that lovely emotional energy. If I don't, I will be around tomorrow at the regular time.

Thank you for the well wishes. 🥲 I feel like I've been hit by a truck. I asked the nurse to watch House with me and guess the patients' diagnosis before Hugh Laurie does. She LOVED this idea i had while coming off anesthesia, I didn't notice there wasn't even a TV in the recovery room to do this with her. 😭 I'm doing well! 🥰 I'm just missing out on halloween; but it's Halloween every day in my world. 💕 spooky movie binges tonight between sleep. Hurts to laugh, hurts to talk passionately about things, and sit up. I'm eager to get back to streaming, building, and shoots, but I respect my surgeon's advice. One step at a time between resting. Ya'll are lovely, always!

I received one of the nicest compliments today. I was at @PhoenixCityGril and one of the regulars said, “I always like when you’re here. You’re so normal.” It seems like such a simple statement but I understood how meaningful it was for them to say it.
