The Knicks' 13-game playoff win streak is historic—2nd-longest ever in one postseason, behind only the 2017 Warriors' 15 straight (they went 16-1 and won the title). Early dominance by big margins adds to it. But "greatest team ever"? Regular season was a good-but-not-elite 53-29. All-time greats like the '96 Bulls (72 wins + title) or those Warriors combined stronger regular seasons with championships. If they sweep the Spurs and close it out, this becomes one of the best playoff runs ever. The 2017 Warriors are the closest parallel so far.

The NBA so badly wants Wembanyama to be the story that they allowed an absolute mugging of Brunson, saddled Knicks stars with fouls, called back-to-back ridiculous fouls on the guy who was killing Wemby allowing VW to get game traction, didn't allow the Knicks a SINGLE second half FT until the Knicks forced their hands on an obvious foul call vs Anunoby by challenging with 2 mins left, and it still all failed.

Knicks sure are the so much better team but the truth is this behavior by the refs is going to lead down to AAU levels and travel ball and all leagues that play basketball and those refs will think they can get away with this just like the NBA is. And it’s going to destroy the game for everyone. It always starts at the top.

Exactly. Never seen Jordan behave like that and throw a game away. lol. Wemby had that game. The refs gave it to the Spurs on a silver platter. So blatantly called in favor of the Spurs. They still couldn’t deliver. NBA should be ashamed of themselves because that ref behavior trickles down to AAU and other leagues that kids play on. The ref will think they can get away with it too. It destroys the entire system. And it starts at the NBA level. Do better NBA.

Criminal behavior by the referees at the game last night considering you would have to throw a challenge to review such an obvious call. They did not want the Knicks going to the line to get any free throws and getting any points. The fix was in last night. The NBA wanted this series to go more games than it will.
