Why are LFC fans so defensive about Wirtz? I’m fully behind Florian Wirtz and I genuinely want him to succeed at Liverpool. But support doesn’t mean pretending everything’s been perfect. Right now, he hasn’t hit the level we expected and it’s okay to say that. When a player arrives with a £120m+ price tag, the standard is immediate impact. Match-defining moments. Authority on games. Consistency. We haven’t seen that yet. He’s looked short of sharpness and rhythm. The physical intensity of the league has been an adjustment. Duels are tougher, space closes quicker, and the tempo is relentless. He’s a technical, intelligent footballer but this league demands explosiveness, stamina, and strength on top of talent. There’s also the tactical side. Settling into a new system at Liverpool isn’t plug-and-play. Pressing triggers, positional rotations, chemistry with teammates all of it takes time. When those details aren’t fully synced, creative players can look quiet and ineffective. Confidence matters too. When the goals and assists don’t come early, hesitation creeps in. Shots get rushed. Final balls get safer. The spark looks dimmer. None of this means he’s a bad player. It means he’s not been at his best yet. We can support him and still be honest , He hasn’t reached the level his fee and reputation promised so far. STANDARDS shouldn’t drop just because we like the player. Keep the same energy. Support the badge. Judge the performances.

I didn’t want to say it at first. Call it denial. Call it blind optimism. I don’t care anymore. After 10 Premier League defeats, it’s only right to call it how it is : Florian Wirtz is a ridiculous talent … but sadly he DOES NOT fit this Liverpool system. This isn’t about ability. He’s elite. Touch, vision, composure, creativity - top tier. But systems win leagues, not highlight reels. Liverpool’s identity is built on: - Vertical speed - Relentless transitions - Midfield intensity -Controlled , deadly football Wirtz is a tempo-setter. A space manipulator. A rhythm player. He wants the game on his terms. Right now, it feels like the system is completely a shambles. Truth be told the balance is off. Midfield is exposed. The attack is all over the place. For Wirtz ... he's a great player. But atm he's in a terrible system with his own form very inconsistent. And ADMITTING this doesn’t make you a negative fan it makes you a HONEST fan

Liverpool lost today, and just a couple of hours after the defeat, Slot has already left England by himself, without his backroom staff and gone abroad somewhere (probably Ibiza). He’s abandoned the mess he’s made. He clearly doesn’t give a fuck about this club.
