It sounds like a joke all in good fun, but seriously this did actually happen the first time. This footage was from the first No Kings event back in June. Many retirement homes were emptied out by event organizers who provided transportation and snacks to retirees, so as to pad their protests with personnel. I mean, it's never a good idea to underestimate mass protest events, but still. Not exactly a youth movement, this No Kings stuff.
