A depressing state of affairs where such an important competition (albeit not the most lucrative) is reduced to this discourse. A snapshot of where football is. What is the point if we aren't competing in all games? We should be. All competitive football matches count.

@chrislepkowski Are we really classing that as an important match Chris? I love the cup (as I know you do) but with where we are it isn’t important. It’s a distraction. If we went full strength and still lost and first 11 players missed the more important games next week we’d rightly kick off.

Sick of Albion fans saying it’s ’individual errors’ 99% of goals come about because of an error somewhere on the pitch. It suggests we have good players just making mistakes, when in reality they’re just not good enough to execute a game plan. Whoever’s in charge.
