it's just an extra set of tools in your toolbox
1. you interact directly with Obsidian's index, so it's much faster than grep for things like finding orphans, or running a .base query
2. lets you control the Obsidian UI itself, take screenshots, run evals, etc, which is useful for plugin/theme development
3. lets you interact with Obsidian services like Sync and Publish which have a remote

@m9tdev @Beelinkofficial I'd revisit that assumption. Obsidian is vastly nicer to use than Apple Notes in my experience. And I spent well over a decade with Notes! Same goes for a lot of the modern Linux tooling. This is a good time to question your assumptions.

The high school of 2 of my kids have phone pouches which are fareaday cages they unlock at the end of the day. Game changer. Bullying down, kids seem more engaged with each other. I hope they dont regress

Texas banned cellphones at school this year Just talked to a high schooler that said it was working. For the first couple months "they were actually learning and doing stuff" But then the teachers stopped enforcing it so they all have their phones again. Social media, texting pictures of tests, using AI, etc The kicker? She said that when they didn't have their phones the teachers actually had to teach. And that was hard on the teachers... so it's much easier for them now to just let the kids have their phones in class... than to teach. 💀
