Britain is 6% Muslim. Germany 5%. France 10%. Sweden 9%. Belgium 7%. At this rate of Islamic conquest, Europe will be majority Muslim sometime around the year 2847. I’d pencil in some mild concern for around 2600 and see how things look then. Now. The refugees. Since someone asked who’s paying for all this. Let’s follow the money back a bit further. America invaded Afghanistan, spent 20 years there achieving absolutely nothing, then left in such breathtaking chaos that people were literally hanging off aircraft. It then invaded Iraq over weapons that turned out not to exist, killed somewhere between 150,000 and a million people, and converted a functioning country into a sectarian hellscape. This is before we even get to the drones over Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan. The people washing up on European shores are, in very large part, the direct human wreckage of American foreign policy. America created the disaster. Europe is housing the survivors. And America is on the internet asking why Europe keeps letting people in. Remarkable cheek, really. As for eliminating indigenous culture: the United States actually eliminated its indigenous people. Deliberately. With rifles and government paperwork. Europe took in Syrian doctors. These are not comparable situations, and pretending they are requires a truly heroic indifference to history. The culture is fine. France still has the cheese. The Louvre is still there. Bach is still there. Nothing has been eliminated except, apparently, the ability to read a percentage.

Britain, Germany, Belgium, France and Sweden are in a race for which becomes the first Islamic country in Europe. They just keep importing more and more fake refugees every chance they get. Who is paying for this intentional elimination of the indigenous people and culture?

Trump last night: „We are helping NATO with Ukraine, so NATO should help the US to keep the Strait of Hormuz open.“ This is a lie. Trump suspended all help to Ukraine with his inauguration. Not a single cent is going to Ukraine. European countries are buying US weapons. This is not helping, this purchasing. When I buy my goods in a store, then the store is not „helping“, it is making business. Trump threatened allies around the globe with invasion and denigrated them at every step, including fallen soldiers in Afghanistan. Putin on the other hand got a pass, received a warm welcome in Alaska and even got sanctions lifted. Those are the facts.

Atmospheric scientist here. Let me tell you what was actually "slashed" today. Slashed: The Endangerment Finding — a 200-page scientific review upheld by the Supreme Court, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, and reaffirmed by the National Academies of Sciences in 2025. Slashed: The legal authority to regulate carbon from cars, power plants, and factories. All of it. Gone in one afternoon. Now here's what you're "saving": Yesterday Trump ordered the Pentagon — the largest energy consumer on Earth — to buy coal electricity. Coal costs $69–$169/MWh. Wind costs $27–$53/MWh. Solar costs $38–$78/MWh. 99% of U.S. coal plants cost more to run than replacing them with brand-new solar or wind. That's your tax dollars buying the most expensive electricity on the market. By executive order. While the Peabody Energy CEO stood in the room. And the human cost of what you're "saving"? 460,000 American deaths linked to coal pollution in 20 years. Coal PM2.5 is 2.1x deadlier than other air pollution. (Henneman et al., Science, 2023) All to protect an industry that employs 44,000 people total. Clean energy employs 3.5 million.

I’m sorry. I try not to post political stuff. But I just watched a video of ICE officers attack a man who was helping a woman up, pin him on the ground, take his (legally owned) gun he NEVER attempted to holster, and then 6 officers shot him to death. He was white (not important to me but def to MAGA assholes). He was a citizen. He was simply helping another citizen get up. And he was pinned to the ground, disarmed and THEN ecexuted by masked agents working for Donald Trump’s gestapo. Fuck you if you support this.

Came across a really neat project from Edoardo Lunardi: Pan-Anywhere Image Space. Here’s my take, built with @UnoPlatform👇 Next iteration: add a timeline so you can steer by time, + a way to actually “enter” a memory (not just pan past it).

For 50 years, global warming had a very consistent trend (+0.19 °C/decade) with a boring, predictable range of natural variations around it. During the last three years, we've broken out above that range, suggesting the pace of change has quickened.

Working on the @dotnet 10 update of my @pluralsight #WPF Fundamentals course. Field properties are such a small feature, but also such a game changer if you build your own ViewModels (and not auto generate them with a tool like Community Toolkit or MvvmGen) #xaml #dotnet
