The ES bounced from the daily demand zone and has formed a weak bullish uptrend. Look for a retracement to the 60-minute demand for a possible bounce. The momentum is key to whether we can see new highs or if the price will retreat into the channel again.

The intraday momentum is weakening and becoming bearish. The daily uptrend is very weak.

The ES bounced from the 240-min demand I mentioned last week. There isn't much momentum, though. Barring any major news events, the ES is likely to move sideways and slightly downward into the new year.

The ES daily trend is sideways. On the 240-min chart, we are seeing a weak bearish move that is likely to make a bounce or even reversal at the next demand at 6780. This could change if the bearish daily momentum forces the RSI below 40 while price drops.
