They’re very hit and miss tbh. Singles only on the SSBT for these markets but you can place a double on the app. I ask the guy behind the counter if he can put this through… said they only accept racing bets over the counter. Has this always been the case? Assuming no

🚨 LEARN HOW TO BET ON GOLF FOR LONG-TERM REAL PROFIT🚨 GOLF OUTRIGHT Last year, I performed solidly in outright markets, covering both traditional outright and first-round leader markets. 2025: 740 bets, 34.62% Lifetime: 5756 bets for 37.63% (settled at B365 prices) The first five months stood out with a solid 40% ROI, but as summer began, outright winners became harder to find. Despite this shift, we experienced several frustrating near misses. We backed Joachim Lagergren twice pre because his price held up, and he offered superb each-way value at prices between 125/1 and 250/1. Rory McIlroy beat him in a sudden-death playoff, which was painful, especially after the Irishman’s 72nd-hole eagle forced the playoff. That outcome cost me nearly 30k in win equity, so the figures would have looked even better had Lagergren won. After this period, we entered a stretch where 54-hole leaders regularly lost on the final day. Next, another tough loss occurred with Tom Hoge at the Players Championship, my historically largest staked event over 30 years. It's a unique test at TPC Sawgrass that challenges top players—just ask Woods, Mickelson and DJ.J. I bet on Hoge for top 20 at 10/1, top 10 at 22/1, each-way 10 places at 250/1+, each-way without favourites, and each-way Top American. He cashed in all my bets and became my most profitable selection of the year without actually winning the event. Like Lagergren, his win fraction would have paid off a mortgage. That is why the early bottom line is 34.62% for golf outright. However, not everything was positive. The place model experienced poor variance last year. GOLF PLACE MODEL Unusually, last year resulted in a slight loss on the place model, meaning returns from backing players to finish in a specific range (like top 5 or top 10) did not offset the stakes. All profits for the year came through the traditional golf outright market, where bets are placed solely on who will win the event. 2025 Place model: 320 bets for -9.19% 2018-2025 Place model: 3836 bets for 23.55% The volume of place model bets has decreased significantly, as the PGA Tour markets have become more efficiently priced post-COVID. This efficiency, along with limited field-signature events and dominant players like Scottie Scheffler, has made it harder to find value using the place model, since the probability of placing is already reflected in the odds. Luckily, the DP World Tour remains full-field events, and with mixed tours and co-sanctioned events, it's harder for firms to price. Thus, except for the Players Championship and select PGA Tour events, most place model bets will now focus on the DP World Tour, where full fields and co-sanctioned events more often provide pricing inefficiencies that the place model can exploit. Notably, over 3836 place model bets at 23.55% on B365 prices across eight years, I have twice backed the eventual outright winner. This shows that place model bets target consistent finishes, not outright victories, and that the winning player is rarely identified through place-only bets. Hence why each-way betting for certain golfers has often and always been another fallacy of Betting for Profit. Since 320 bets represent a volume 25% below the past minimum for the reasons discussed above, I will stick with the status quo for the next 12 months. The deficit is 3.1, which means a 33/1+ winner puts it back in profit, of which there have been plenty. Remember, we started the year with Danny Willett cashing 28/1 and 66/1 tickets along with the Tom Hoge ones discussed above.
