There are several reasons I’ve never liked it here. One, it seems to bring out the worst in people—reactive, impulsive, rewarded for crude bickering. Two, spewing hate at America and constantly complaining about the state of things plays well here, but in real life, thank God, when you’re talking to actual people, the algorithm dissolves and you’re reminded that none of this exists outside this weird, cruel little screen. Happy Tuesday to those who reject negativity as commodity and sit with awe and gratitude on the human side of it all.
