Why do people leave reviews like 'You just want me to buy the next book!' Um........no shit? I'm a fucking author and it's a fucking series? WTF? (This actually wasn't a review of one of mine, just something I see a lot on other novels that are part of series.)

Are there any other winter survival harem stories out there? And I do mean specifically winter, or at least an appreciable portion of it takes place in winter. I've found some winter survival stuff, but there's, at best, a romance. No harems.

Starting a second pen name is looking like a better idea even more, because there are aspects of A Warm Place that I really wouldn't want to change, but people apparently fucking hate. I'm no hardcore gamer, but this feels like people demanding a game be on easy all the time.

Goddamn do people really hate even kind of realistic trust issues and understandable defensiveness THIS MUCH? Megan was kidnapped and abused in A Warm Place, so naturally she'd have emotional problems, and people are acting like I wrote a queen fucking bitch.

All right, so A Warm Place 2 is all done and ready to go. First few chapter preview coming sometime within the next week, and cover reveal. I'm now turning my attention back to Fine Wine 4. Beyond that?.....I'll let you know in the next Newsletter.

I'm doing better now. Still no Covid symptoms. Think I dodged it, but I'll get a test when I can. (Things keep cropping up and it's not like I go out at all anyway these days.) I'll probably finish A Warm Place 2 tomorrow, then take some time to finish Fine Wine 4.
