JR here… had to share… Went to go drop off orders at UPS but they closed at 6; thought they closed at 6:30. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Headed back to the shop and saw a UPS truck pulled over at the gas station around the corner. Pulled in and parked by him. Poor guy was in the pizza parlor grabbing some dinner [likely after a long day] and I walked in and asked him if he knew if any locations were still open. He said they’re all closed, but that he would take our boxes… He started to get up and I insisted he sit down and enjoy the rest of his meal and don’t rush it. Sat in the car for about 15 minutes and met him outside after, so we could get boxes moving. He wished us luck and I shook his hand and thanked him. He did what he didn’t have to do. 📦 There’s still goodness in the world. I just wish I had a tub to give him… he said he drops off and picks up regularly at the UPS store on the corner so I’m going to bring a tub for him and leave it with the owners.
