Coz even they know that, given the Modi Govt's current appeasement politics, there's a real possibility this demand could be granted some time later down the line and opposing it now would only make defending a future U-turn much harder 😂😂😂

सपा सांसद द्वारा एससी/एसटी एक्ट के दुरुपयोग का हाई-प्रोफाइल मामला आया हैं सामने। आरोप है कि पत्रकार आतिश यादव ने जब मंदिर में लाइट लगाने हेतु अपनी आवाज इटावा से सपा सांसद जितेंद्र दोहरे के समक्ष उठाई तो उनके खिलाफ सांसद जी ने पत्रकार के खिलाफ फर्जी एससी/एसटी एक्ट के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज करवा दिया। गिरफ्तारी के बाद मेडिकल के दौरान पत्रकार आतिश यादव ने जोर-जोर से चिल्लाकर कहा – “सब लोग देखो, सिर्फ लाइट की मांग करने पर मेरे ऊपर एससी/एसटी एक्ट लगवाया जा रहा है।” यह घटना इस ओर संकेत करती है कि, हमारे देश में एससी/एसटी एक्ट का दुरुपयोग व्यापक स्तर पर हो रहा है, और दुर्भाग्यवश जिम्मेदार सरकारें इसे रोकने के बजाय इसके प्रति उदासीन या संरक्षणात्मक रवैया अपनाती नजर आती हैं।
