A Clayton Dorsey grand slam gives Frederick a 9-3 lead heading to the bottom of the eighth.

Gem of a play from Frederick’s Jack Clarke to go behind the bag and take away a hit from Braedon Reina and end a Tribune threat. Cam Bentley is on to pitch for Monroe in the eighth trailing 5-3.

Jaden Sherwood retires the side in order in the top of the sixth. Tribs trail Frederick 5-3.

Going to the 5th: Frederick 5 Tribs 3

For the second time in three days, Braedon Reina goes yard. This time the sophomore goes oppo to bring in 2. Tribs trail 4-3 heading to the fourth.

Frederick gets 2 in the third. Jaden Sherwood is on the mound. Tribs trailer 4-1 heading to the bottom of the third.

Cos Zeiser leaves two on base, but Frederick gets 2 runs without a hit to take a 2-1 lead into the bottom of the second.

T1: Thomas Woodridge does a job with an RBI groundout. Aidan Gallagher scores on the play.
