They want us to make Tier 1 intervention tutoring groups for students who are failing. Only students failing are those who haven’t done the 10pgs of reading & notes. I’m not doing 30 mins of after school tutoring for students who can’t complete basic reading for an AP class.

I fully recognize that I have loads more privilege as a man. But damn, if female teachers can wear knee length skirts and dresses to work, why can’t I wear shorts? It’s 80° in my room this whole week and no timeline for the AC to get fixed.

Our principal told us she doesn’t want to see any instruction taking place on the 1st day. It should all be relational building activities with students. I ain’t got time for that.
