"Uncle, please save me." 😥 "Retd. Army man became a monster." 😡 This man tied a baby girl to an iron railing and beat her MERCILESSLY just because she took a guava from his garden in Una, HP. I'm speechless about the pain she must have felt. This man must be arrested ASAP.

When I asked her to marry me, I was broke. My bank account was in overdraft. She still said yes. Our wedding feast was just vada pav and tea. It was all I could afford. 5 days later, I left for Europe to race. I returned 5 months later in a wheelchair, nearly paralyzed. She looked after me while expecting our first child. 4 years later, she had the courage to send me back for another round the world race. 8 months later, I returned victorious. Behind every win is a partner who is rarely seen, like the wind in the sails. Here is to the unsung partner. Happy wedding anniversary!

Ramesh Gupta died in 2019. Heart attack. 54 years old. He had a ₹50 lakh term insurance policy. Premiums paid without a single default for 11 years. His wife filed the death claim. The insurance company said: "We need to investigate." They investigated for 3 years. Kept asking for documents. She kept submitting. They kept asking for more. She couldn't pay the home loan EMI. Sold the car. Borrowed from relatives. In 2022, they finally rejected the claim. Said Ramesh had a pre-existing condition he "didn't disclose." The condition: slightly high blood pressure. Noted in a routine checkup in 2015. Never treated. Never medicated. She went to IRDAI. Then consumer court. The court said: A condition that was never treated and never affected his health cannot be used to reject a claim 11 years later. ₹50 lakh ordered paid. Plus 9% interest from 2019. Plus ₹1 lakh for mental harassment. They made a widow wait 3 years. Then rejected her. A court gave her everything back. With interest. Save this post. If an insurance claim is rejected citing "non-disclosure" — fight it. Courts have consistently ruled against insurers using minor, untreated conditions as grounds for rejection.

“Iran is escalating the war by shooting down the planes bombing it” — NYT This is worse controlled media than anything I’ve ever seen from China, Russia, North Korea or Iran
Nima Shirazi@WideAsleepNima

The New York Times is now describing Iran's very normal acts of self-defense - shooting down American jets that are BOMBING THEIR FUCKING COUNTRY - as an "escalation from Iran's leadership." Completely unhinged to publish stuff like this.

Visit a government hospital in any tier 2 or tier 3 city and the illusion breaks instantly. Broken systems, filthy conditions, zero dignity and patients treated like burdens instead of human beings. 🤷‍♂️ x.com/KUNDAN00PATEL/…

A heartbreaking scene unfolded in Kanpur, where a young barefoot boy was seen desperately trying to revive his unconscious mother lying by the roadside. With innocence and fear in his eyes, he offered her water and even snacks—hoping she would wake up, not fully understanding the gravity of the situation. What made the moment even more painful was the response of the crowd around him. Instead of stepping forward to help, many chose to stand by and record the incident on their phones. As the child struggled alone in a moment no one should ever face, humanity seemed to take a backseat. This incident is a stark reminder of the kind of society we are becoming—where documenting a tragedy often takes priority over responding to it. Sometimes, the smallest act of help can mean everything, especially to someone who has no one else to turn to. #Kanpur #Humanity #WakeUpCall #BeHuman #KindnessMatters #SocialResponsibility #RealHeroesHelp #DoBetter

"Treat your employees as human." 💯 At a Mr DIY store in Infiniti Mall, Malad, an ELDERLY employee was forced to stand for hours without even a plastic chair to sit on. This happens in almost every mall in INDIA, where employees are treated inhumanely.

Spent last two days reading this interesting book written by a British General of Indian Army in 1920s. Maj Gen Woodyatt served with the 3rd Gurkhas (as they were called then) and later raised and commanded 2/7 Gurkhas. Delightful vignettes of a bygone era of soldiering.

Thank you, everyone for your prayers and wishes. Thankfully, the worst is over. Mom's now recovering in the ICU. She is speaking normally. If all goes well, she'll be shifted to a room tomorrow, and discharged thereafter. Doctors say we were able to save her thanks to early detection of symptoms, and quick diagnosis thereafter. I will post a detailed account of how this happened and what you should do if you suspect someone is showing similar symptoms. Quick medical help is crucial for full recovery. I will forever be indebted to the talented team of doctors @CaritasHospital who came together to save her life. At the moment, I am just relieved. It's been a crazy, crazy week for me.

Just went through -- quite possibly -- the toughest moment of my life. Mom suffered a mini stroke. She was rushed in to ER where doctors detected a block and a clot in the carotid artery (that supplies blood to the brain). She just underwent a procedure known as Carotid Artery Thrombectomy. The procedure was successful, but I'd only get to know if she'll make a complete recovery once she's out of ICU.

A Heart-Wrenching News for Humanity In Katni, Madhya Pradesh, a newborn baby was found abandoned in the toilet of the Haridwar-Puri Utkal Express—the innocent child who should have been cradled in his mother's lap was left to die on the cold floor of the train by his own kin. Just thinking about it fills the heart with sorrow—what crime had that tiny soul committed? How can a human being turn so stone-hearted? Thank goodness the police rescued him, and now he's in the hospital. Just pray that the little one stays safe 🙏

This morning, we said goodbye to our precious daughter, Sasha. She took her final breath in our arms, asking us to hold her close—then even closer—until her heart quietly came to rest. Leaving her behind felt like losing a part of ourselves. Sasha faced cancer with a courage beyond words. For months, through every treatment and setback, she met each day with a smile, comforting us instead. She showed us the purest meaning of love. Even in the hardest moments, her spirit never faltered, and her heart never stopped loving. In her final days, we could see how much the illness had weakened her fragile body, yet her spirit remained unbreakable. When she passed, it was peaceful, and her mind was spared the worst of the pain. Though we will never again feel her warmth or hear her laughter, her memory and light will live on forever. Sasha taught us how to love without limits, how to fight with everything we have, and how to find joy in the smallest moments. Her bravery and strength were extraordinary. Her story will continue to inspire change, because no child should ever endure what she did. We carry her legacy forward now, honoring her name as we work toward a kinder, better world. 🤍
