@slohmanturf @WyattByrdie I’m going with slime mold. They got it at a nine facility I consult for. They were able to wash it right off with a hose. It wasn’t there yesterday afternoon at 4:00PM, and it was there this morning. Funny thing is, I just got a text it came back since washing it off

Turf twitter opinions before we mix a load of mancozeb for the chipping green. Course greens vs chipping green (all chem apps same other than Quicksilver several times on the chipping green this season). Moss? Black slime?

@chuck_stccc @scc1897 @5EJeff @MrPesticide I use bifenthrin @ 1 oz per m every two weeks and haven’t had an ant problem the last two seasons following this program.

@scc1897 @5EJeff @MrPesticide DC ants have been a real problem this year. More so than any other I recall. Heard a tip to apply bifenthrin at .5 oz per m w all foliar apps. I am going to try that.

Should have gotten a picture together but thanks to former assistant & long time friend @TurtonJeremy for coming by to help current assistant with Audubon recertification. Always nice to catch up and turn the memory machine on.

Just an FYI to those in the Chicago market, our maintenance building was broken in to overnight. Only chainsaws, string trimmers and cut off saws taken. No vandalism. Same type of theft occurred in this market a couple of years ago.
