@_FleerUltra @whstancil "We are incredibly ashamed by the Supreme Court's decision on abortion. This is why we must vote harder than ever in November. Democracy is at stake." That's your guaranteed response

Good to finally see Newcastle see a win out!! I'm not going to pretend it was a much better performance than we've seen recently. Still came dangerously close to throwing away a 2-0 lead. Still would like to see better before the end of the season

This is certainly the best Newcastle have looked in weeks, they have fire and desire. I do think their 2 goals are more situational than tactical advantages, however. It'll be an impressive win if they hold it and a huge boost for Howe but it shouldn't guarantee him safety either

@mattyglesias MPD is one of the most staffed city police forces in the country. They have additional support from capitol police, the National Guard (for now), and multiple other agencies. Other cities hire less, have less support, but have with less crime. So how is this a staffing problem?

@dcbrian MPD at 3100 officers is already one of the highest staffed police departments in the country. They also have assistance from Capital Police and the national guard (for now). How can anyone's (logical) mind consider adding more officers a viable solution?

@Tweets_ByJ MPD has exceeded its overtime budget by millions. 18 hour shifts exhaust officers past the point where they function at their best. MPD has ~3100 officers. They require ~4000 to run the city. One day, the NG will be gone. How can anyone's (non-criminal) mind consider this bad?

@DCnotAstate @JohnFubka DC saw a reduction of crime prior to the guard coming in, actually. But that doesn't fit your narrative. And I agree, the city needs serious leadership. That's why I'm voting for JLG and not a Muriel Bowser regen

@Tweets_ByJ @JohnFubka Expand SCOTUS? You have lost your mind . Dc has seen a reduction in crime since the guard came in . Lewis george is a dangerous radial who feels sorry for criminals. The city needs serious leadership not a politician who caters to the radical elements of left wing ideology

@scarpizio If it's a tier list it goes: Pens Pirates - - - - 50 feet of shit - - - Steelers

Which of Pittsburgh's Big Three is closest to actually competing for a Championship again? Okay, Steelers or Pens? I think it's pretty even.

@JohnFubka MPD is one of the highest staffed police forces in the country. On top of that, the National Guard patrols the district now. Yet crime is still a prevalent issue. So your solution is to....keep funding the failing strategy?

@Zuk_DC They'd be more helpful than Metro PD and the National Guard!

@DemocraticWins The national guard patrols the streets. DC has one of the highest officer per capita ratios in the country. How does hiring more go a long way in solving the Democrats issues on crime

No mention of endorsing Platner in her statement. I will not be shocked if she goes full mask off and endorses Collins

@admcrlsn This is such a tricky issue for Dems because I feel like a significant amount of voters equate *feeling uncomfortable* with *crime*. It's hard to be "tough on crime" when a lot of the *crime* people are concerned about aren't actually crimes
