That said, I can assume this conscious decision about NSFW came AFTER the massive collaboration with well known SWers and adult content creators, correct. This only furthering the confirmation that it in fact had nothing to do with that at all.
Per your own statement- “since I’m unable to hold up my end of the bargain… it’s only fair I pay your full rates” thus confirming and proving that you are knowingly and willingly not paying full and fair rates to other creators in the first place when you commission them. Insane take from someone who I would assume expects to get paid fairly when the are commissioned for a feature or a song, yes?
You’re haggling creators. Which inherently results in an accepted low ball because you promise them reach, which is how some make ends meet when the money isn’t there by at least getting more eyes on their work. This should never be the case for a commission no matter who you are- pay fair rates or don’t commission them. Pretty simple concept that was intentionally overlooked.
