Canada's Auditor General reports that more than 153,000 student visa fraud cases were identified, but only a small number were investigated by the government. The government did not effectively investigate high-risk immigration fraud cases involving international students. The Auditor General says 800 fraudulent student visa holders applied for other visas, and more than half of them have been approved.
