We welcomed Col (ret) Jeremy Cannon, M.D., to UAB as the inaugural speaker for the Loring Rue, III, M.D. Endowed Lectureship. Cannon spoke on military medicine, from ancient Greece to the world wars, & how the U.S. can prepare for potential large-scale combat operations.
