Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems works hard to keep our lights on. I met with @UAMPS_ and St. George officials to talk energy policy, permitting reform, and regional power challenges—issues I’m working to on to make it easier and more affordable to power our communities.

As Utah continues to grow, ensuring reliable and affordable energy is a top priority. The Nebo Power Plant in Payson is a great example of the type of reliable energy solutions we need. The plant uses natural gas, which is a dispatchable energy resource. @UAMPS_ is exploring additional resources like geothermal, which Utah has in abundance, and will be critical as we look toward the future. ⚡️ #utpol
