@TheEmilJay Solid upper mid-card guy pre-injury. Really deserved an I/C title run as well. His autobiography is shocking good as well.

@startkyIeorton Great read! As a Miami Hurricane graduate, I'd love to see Ward do well. I was surprised to learn that he didn't throw deep as much as I thought he did in my mind's eye. Keep up the good work!

@landofthe80s I will go to my grave believing they would have been better off having Savage win and then Hogan get the belt at Summerslam.

@Eagles lol - yeah, certainly proving all the haters wrong with a badly thrown ball that took away a TD. Solid job here.

@IVPvideos LOL - it's actually not true. The estate will have to settle all debts (car loans included). If not paid back, the institution that issued the loan will come after the car.

Jalen Hurts sounds like just about every QB in the history of the NFL who has won a Super Bowl and been a starter for multiple seasons. It's not like Troy Aikman, Joe Montana, or Terry Bradshaw were like, "sure let's change the way I read defenses in year 8."
Jeremy Fowler@JFowlerESPN

Our latest at ESPN Jalen Hurts stands at a crossroads. Despite his immense success, sources say he has a hand in the Eagles offense becoming calcified and frustrations have grown. With @Tim_McManus espn.com/nfl/story/_/id…

@darien_wells @CourtneyRCronin I don't even understand what you mean here. Clearly if he wanted to Bears have the picks, they would have the picks at this point. It's not like there is some secret organization making the decision. It's him. He's the one deciding.

Kevin Warren and George McCaskey said the Bears are still appealing the NFL's decision to not give them compensatory picks for Ian Cunningham's departure. They expect an answer soon. McCaskey, Warren and GM Ryan Poles visited with commissioner Roger Goodell in New York City and stated the team's case to receive comp picks based on their belief that Cunningham's departure/hire as GM in Atlanta fulfills Rooney Rule obligations that should net Chicago 2 compensatory third round picks.

@startkyIeorton Bo Nix v. the corpse of Aaron Rodgers would be a great camp battle in 2026.

oh are you tired of running so many RPOs and perimeter screens and not using the middle of the field? And you' think the answer is 2026 Aaron Rodgers??

I don't buy Florio's "Broncos interested in Rodgers" story one bit but like man talk about the only way to get me to ardently defend Bo Nix.

Anyway, nothing is going to happen here but I do wish some reporters would push back on Goodell, "if you care so much about the Rooney Rule and inclusion, why are you ignoring the DEI initiative that actually worked in promoting minority GM candidates?"

We can certainly discuss these DEI initiatives, but to sit here and create one, have the Bears develop a minority candidate to become GM for years, have said person become a GM, and then ignore the rule based on a technically does not strike me as best practice.

The #Bears are still trying to persuade the NFL to give them compensatory picks after the #Falcons hired Ian Cunningham. They expect an answer soon.

It sounds like there has been some pressure at the Owner's Meetings, and Roger Goodell has decided to grant the Bears the comp picks for the Falcons' hiring of GM Ian Cunningham. The Bears will have the last pick of Day 2 in the 2026 NFL Draft.
