Deeply saddened by the passing of Ted Turner, a true friend of the United Nations. A pioneer whose historic generosity led to the founding of the @UNFoundation, helping to usher in a new era of public-private partnership in support of peace, dignity and sustainable development around the world. His legacy will continue to live on through the work of the UN Foundation and through the countless lives touched by his belief in the power of people coming together to build a better future for all. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and the staff and Board of the Foundation.
