Her favorite spot on campus is the serene third floor of Andersen, perfect for studying. 📚 Sammy is a self-encouragement pro, often having pep talks with herself during the day. Sammy's most unique talent? Reciting the alphabet backward!

👋 Meet Sammy Smith, one of our First Husker Peer Mentors! Sammy, a junior majoring in Journalism, is from Conifer, Colorado. If Sammy won an all-expenses paid vacation, she'd head to Alaska for epic hikes, bear sightings, and moose encounters! 🏞️

Her valuable advice for incoming students: Don't hesitate to advocate for yourself and make use of the resources on campus. People are here to support your success! 🌟

Eva's unique talent? Reciting numerous digits of pi, a skill she honed during a middle school competition! When starting college, she was most afraid of walking into the wrong lecture hall, a common concern for many.

👋 Meet Eva Treijs, one of our First Husker Peer Mentors! Eva is a sophomore majoring in Biochemistry and calls Lincoln, Nebraska, her hometown. If she won an all-expenses paid vacation, Italy would be her dream destination, where she'd make pasta and explore the countryside.
