I've never published this before, but as Israel celebrates its Independence Day, I'd like to share a story: Months into the war, one of my classmates at Harvard called the IDF genocidal pigs. Immediately after class, I texted my friend in the IDF that I wanted to sponsor a BBQ for an entire unit of the IDF serving in Lebanon that very same day. I’m mocking one sides perceived argument about it. My first post is clearly sarcasm. And I have said in subsequent posts that from a personal opinion I think everyone should be able to. 😂 However, from a technical standpoint.. LEOSA (HR218) already establishes a federal standard for nationwide concealed carry tied to training and qualification. (Creating said class system) Extending similar authority to Special Operations personnel would be an expansion of that framework, not a fundamentally new concept. Expansion of framework like this could lead to either that class system going away or the class system growing. What doesn’t look good for National Concealed Carry is politicians shooting down every attempt to make this happen or improve where it’s at now. This is called policy trajectory. Again, I think since the beginning we should all have the right to carry. But your class theory has about as many holes in it as me poking fun at democrats for wanting to protect terrorism (which is clearly sarcastic) lol. Classes in this already exist. “LEOSA”, “prohibited persons,” etc.
