When swing trading and I enter on the daily FVG I just put in my mind the trade would take 3-4days to play out And that’s how I lock 🔐 up Leaving it to TP of SL #fvg

FVG without confirmation is just a gap. 2CR is what tells you institutions are actually defending it. Anyone can mark an FVG. Patience is waiting for the second candle reaction before committing risk. No 2CR = no trade.

One of the biggest shifts in my trading journey: I stopped trying to catch every move. Missing opportunities never blew an account. Overtrading did.

Once you get funded after all the struggles through challenge phase, CALM DOWN Trading a funded account is beyond knowing your entries and exits. Two major things you must do: - First, strip off all the responsibilities you want to use your payout to solve from your mind, constantly remind yourself "the problems/ responsibilities will be solved with or without the funded account anyways". Life will definitely go on whether you have the funded account or not. A constant reminder will condition your mind to be patient and trade better. - Secondly, remove set target for your payout from your mind, don't condition your mind to a particular figure that you must get to before you can request for payout, many have lost their funded accounts from huge profits back to drawdown because they want to make all their profits in one payout. Take what you see and start again, once you withdraw into your account you'll appreciate the money more. As you are looking for $10K, if you see $1K grab it, if you're looking for $1K, if you see $100 take it out, don't postpone your payout because it's not "enough" you may cryyy at the end.

One important lesson every trader must learn is that a setup is not invalidated simply because price pushes slightly deeper into a zone before delivery. Yesterday after sharing the bearish XAUUSD narrative, some traders assumed the setup had failed because price reacted aggressively around the POI. But this is where patience and understanding market structure become important. The market often creates emotional pressure before the actual move happens. Strong setups rarely look perfect in real time because liquidity, inducement and volatility are all part of price delivery. As traders, the goal is not to react emotionally to every candle. The goal is to understand the higher timeframe narrative, respect risk management and allow the setup enough room to play out according to structure. This is why trading is less about prediction and more about discipline, patience and execution.

The fact that no matter how smart you are, you cannot escape the stupidity of your society, is one thing that deeply pains me.

Funded account journey : Trading is one of the few professions where working hard mostly means waiting patiently and NOT taking a dumbass trade. Sometimes doing nothing at the wrong time makes you more money than forcing a setup. Patience is underrated.
