sorry to be insistent & repetitive, but there are many more than 15 "top" universities & a number of excellent small liberal arts colleges. feeling sorry for young persons who have been virtually brainwashed to think that their lives depend upon being accepted by a "top" university. there is so much in American culture to discourage & depress young people. at least, when some (of us) were college-age, the world seemed open & welcoming; scholarships for both science & the humanities abounded; there was no Internet, thus no obsessive focus on "top universities"; there was no hydra-headed AI looming ahead...

@MonizTPSD2 Not true. There were real problems from the Upham era but we've got larger per capita endowment than Tulane and there are obvious means to get that properly allocated. Mediocrity is the most expensive thing in the world amidst a precarious environment for private U's @StacyLeeds3

It's great that she has experience at ambitious R1 research universities. AZ State is not just a place where LA kids go to party anymore. Let's hope she continues an ambitious agenda at TU.

Harold Hamm would be a superb choice to fulfill the remainder of Sen. Markwayne Mullin‘s term. As the founder of Continental Resources and the leader who helped transform oil and gas production to help America become energy independent, he is the right choice to work with President Trump on critical energy and price issues while our best of the best military defeats Iran. I am encouraging Governor Stitt ( @GovStitt ) to appoint Harold Hamm to the U.S. Senate as soon as possible. It’s the best move for Oklahoma and for the country.
