For those asking about Xueyi, she's considered a "non-important Character" internally hence probably why she doesn't match and uses her kit path instead. Though Yao Guang is using a generic icon rather than Hunt too so it is really weird

nvm! Seems like it's hit and miss? Some characters follow their lore path and some are following their kit path or I guess it's probably following kit unless the character is more closely tied to a path in their lore

@Ubatcha1 You could argue that these are referring to the faction they are in But I dont remember Ashveil being revealed in game as a Galaxy Ranger (we figured that out is from hints) And there are icons for the factions too as per CW
