@kw1330 Composting requires very specific conditions, and the capsules are not completely air-tight, so the coffee quality deteriorates very quickly. Aluminium is infinitely recyclable snd complete free. The capsules are also hermetically sealed so the best way to deliver the product :)

@Wrightaboutnow @NespressoUK But much worse than what existed for decades before. Refillable glass containers. Now it's pretentious little pods, that give 'convenience' to the middle-class. They are such wasteful people.
