@krissstyne @mossbag69 yep that definitely makes it special and overall i liked the "you are not the hollow knight", "radiance is sealed in thk's mind", "void vs light", "dreamers protecting thk", "king disappeared leaving his kingdom to die", the whole premise of hk MUCH more than anything in silksong

@UncannyInfinity @mossbag69 honestly the “figure it out” vibe of the lore presented by the fact that ghost can’t speak is what gives it the aura imo. i’m really glad we get hornet’s dialogue bc it shows her making connections and helping people, but the first hk playthrough is just so incredible.

Which game do you like more?

@mossbag69 from the technical point of view silksong is obviously surpasses hk in every aspect... but hk has that aura that silksong lacks. i liked the lore, the story and the setting far better than silksong. this is what i'm saying: ignoring the technical advances, silksong loses to hk

@ArsonistManiac @mossbag69 especially judging the true ending in both games. playing through hk and fighting radiance feels so much cooler than the chore that is Silk and Soul prerequisites and act 3 (i hated act 3). i kinda think the replayability of silksong is worse bc of quests and ending conditions

@ArsonistManiac @mossbag69 idk, i really enjoyed exploring the world of silksong, but the thing is... i kinda have no reason to come back :( maybe it'll change with randomizer? I've completed hk a dozen of times and 112%d 4 times, and for silksong - I probably won't touch it once i get all all achievements

Is anyone elses Practice Mode super buggy? Say I'm jumping over 4 spikes. I place a checkpoint mid-air, survive, but then when I respawn it kills me like I didn't just make the jump in the previous attempt. Super annoying
