@UnitedHamilton @midweekcycling 1st and 3rd also did the least amount of work in the break. That's not a coincidence. Sprint momentum and position matter but you need to have the sprint legs.

@AJamesBradbury @midweekcycling it was like woods was just too focused on valverde and did not account at all for the 3 guys behind him laying back and taking a run into their draft. they came by so much faster. Momentum and timing are equally as important as “having the legs”.

@midweekcycling For sure. But Woods winning that sprint was always a very low probability scenario. And then to pull the hardest in the break to keep it away. Not sure the thinking.
